Heritage Hall was the stunning venue for this wedding. You can't beat inviting your guests to the one and only Main Street! The beautiful iconic entrance to the building was first opened in 1916 as a post office, which closed in 1983. Opened shortly after as a ballroom, it has been the beautiful backdrop to many loving couples since. It doesn't get more Vancouver-esque than this!
The bride prepared and some amazing photos were taken while she did. No getting ready photo-op is complete without a shot of the hanging gown, last minute makeup touches and of course the SHOES! M chose a beautiful emerald velvet wrap heel to complement her astonishing lace gown.
The couple executed the perfect first look at the breathtaking location of Rice Lake. This is "their spot" and has special meaning to them, where they wanted to document this special moment. It's a great idea for any couples that can logistically incorporate their favourite spot into their special day because this is such a great memory to have.
The couple took their time for their First Look video, exchanged rings, vows and even enjoyed the beautiful scenery. They took advantage of their intimate time together before the big event.
A projector played the couple's first look on the wall before they entered. They definitely surprised their guests when they walked in for their grand entrance! A cocktail style ceremony was created to opt for a more casual vibe but that didn't detract from the amount of love in the room coming from these two as they exchanged their vows.
Following the ceremony, the couple continued with the surprises! They went straight into their first dance...and it was nothing short of perfection.
The details of this wedding were intricate and intimate. The couple had a photo-op area for guests to leave their well wishes complete with props and polaroids!
A delicate balance of DIY decor with professional touches was impeccably done. The bride used lace flowers from her mother's wedding gown to place around the venue to add a sentimental element and the place cards were carefully designed and customised by the couple. Bespoke Decor created an amazing seating chart that matched with the flow wonderfully.
Couples champagne glasses, koozies and picked onions were the cherries on top of the details at this wedding! The koozies had the couple's AMAZING hashtag written on top "Camon" which is a combination of their names as well as "Thank-you" in Vietnamese. The groom made his famous pickled onions for each guest, talk about a labour of love!
Yes, lounge sets are still in! They are here to stay because they are way too much fun. Bespoke Decor curated an incredible living room display that made a very fun photo op!
This couple had such a beautiful and fun wedding. Every detail in the planning was a reflection of them and that's the best way to make your day special. Your wedding day is about you, your love and your story. Tell it how you want it!
