A Tale as Old as Time - a Beauty and the Beast Inspired Wedding Decor Editorial

Our latest feature of a Beauty & the Beast Inspired Wedding as seen in Confetti Wed Mag!

The Videographer: Lonely Wolf Productions is a well known hubby & wife team in Vancouver. Their style of work is impeccable from start to finish, producing beautiful and flawless memories. See the credits below for a link to their website!

A perfect set by Violet Grey Creative, the stationery in dusty blue and canary yellow make the just the right combination to bring this classic colour scheme together in a subtle way. A touch of gold was the addition to bring these bespoke pieces to life.

Hannah Tikkanen custom made a dress for this shoot. How could she not? Belle's classic ballgown needed a modern day refresher and it's absolutely breathtaking. Ditching the ruffles and keeping the length kept the gown's regal effect. The off shoulder style is still identical to one of the most iconic gowns from the 90's but with a softer yellow.

We are all about the evening gowns! Belle needed one more for a dance with the Beast and designer Hannah Tikkanen opted for a slimmer a-line style to change things up! Dancing with the Beast in the Aberthau Manor made the dress flow full length to show its true beauty.

Harry Rosen fitted our Beast with a sharp dinner jacket, a gold tie to subtly match Belle's beautiful gown and pocket square to match. His trousers and stunning shoes tied everything together to give us Prince Charming.

Luxia Jewellery paired some exquisite pieces with the Hannah Tikkanen gown. A stunning yellow gold rock with a pair of beautiful pearls fit for a princess.

The place settings were designed by The Bridal Bar and MV Decor together, bringing a classic vibe made contemporary with black accents. Casually knotted napkins gave a less formal feel to add to the "tea-time" occasion. The place cards couldn't be more fitting for Mrs. Pott's, Lumiére and other favourites! Of course the infamous rose could not be overlooked and became the understated star of the show.

Hair & Makeup was perfectly executed by Jasmine Hoffman and her team (as always). As we all know, Belle has always had more of a natural look but for this particular shoot we went with a little more glam coinciding perfectly with the attire.

The floral was a mix of red and yellow traditional type flowers to add a pop of colour on the table contrasting the dusty blue table cloth.

The cake made by Cakes in a Box (Joyce Ng) in a gorgeous muted version of the colour palette to coincide with the rest of the shoot. The stained glass was such an integral part of the movie and Joyce executed it flawlessly with buttercream piping outlines and a gel fill. Yes, it tastes as good as it looks!

Be Our Guest! Last but not least, we have a beautiful spread provided by Peake of Catering. The foods were each inspired by the original Be Our Guest menu and song from the movie, made with their own personal twist of course. See the amazing menu below:

Cremini Mushroom - smoked beet hummus, puffed grains

Watermelon Poke - umami seasoning, avocado, wakame

Seared Scallop - miso caramel, pickled cucumber, korean chili

Yuzu Meringue Tart | black sesame

Passionfruit Cheesecake | white chocolate

Strawberry & Chocolate Mousse Cake - Ruby chocolate
